How To Detect The Quality And Use Effect Of Clean Cloth?
- Aug 26, 2018 -

How to detect dust-free cloth? When we buy and make a clean cloth, we will do a series of tests on the quality of the clean cloth and the obvious effect of the use, but we may not know the detection method of the clean cloth, so we will share it with everyone. To get a general idea of some methods of dust-free cloth detection:

用户评价干净的布主要由material, absorption rate, cleanliness and cost of the wipe. In the clean room of the semiconductor industry, there are high requirements for dust-free wipes, ions, ESD, and the like. IEST-RP-CC004.3 provides some methods for evaluating dust-free wipes.

Dust-free cloth needs to be rigorously tested to meet performance requirements and pollution control standards. Generally, dust-free cloth needs to be tested as follows:

Dust-free cloth abrasion resistance test

Generally, the abrasion resistance test is a test of the physical properties of the cloth. However, in the test of the dust-free cloth, since the abrasion process generates dust particles, it is more appropriate to classify the abrasion resistance test of the dust-free cloth into the pollution control range.

* Test standard: The stronger the abrasion resistance, the less likely it is to generate dust particles.

Dust-free cloth basis weight test

Test the weight per unit area of clean cloth according to ASTM-D-3776 *Reference test standard: general requirements are 150-300g/m2

Dust-free cloth aspirate and aspiration rate test

According to the requirements of Section 8 of IEST-RP-CC004.3, the absorption and absorption rate of the clean cloth should be tested. The amount of liquid absorption reflects the number of milliliters of liquid absorbed by the clean cloth per unit area. The rate of absorption refers to the time required for the clean cloth to absorb 10 ml of liquid. Both measurements must be measured three times and the average value calculated. * Reference test standard: The liquid absorption is generally not less than 400g/m2.

The dust-free cloth suction speed is generally no more than 1 second.

IC Test Quantitatively and quantitatively measure the inorganic anion and cation content according to the requirements of Section 7.2 of IEST-RP-CC004.3.

*Reference test standard, in the head industry, generally requires CL-≤0.03ug/cm2; SO42-≤0.03ug/cm2; NO3-≤0.03ugcm2; Total:<1.0ug/cm2

NVR Test Non-volatile residue per unit area is tested according to Section 7.1 of IEST-RP-CC004.3. In the NVR test, the dust-free cloth is immersed in a certain amount of solvent for a certain amount of time, and then the dust-free cloth is taken out to test the quality of the non-volatile residue dissolved in the solvent.

*Reference test standard: In the head industry, the general requirement is <3.0ug/cm2

LPC Test The LPC test is performed on the clean cloth according to the requirements of Section 6.2.1 of IEST-RP-CC004.3. LPC can test the number of liquid dust particles on a clean cloth.

The LPC test is to soak the dust-free cloth in a certain amount of DI water and ultrasonically oscillate to measure the dust particle concentration in the DI water.

*Reference test standard: in the head industry, generally requires <30counts/cm2

Dust-free cloth FTIR test Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy test

* Reference test standards: Silicone oil, amino compounds, plasticizers are generally not allowed.

Clean cloth GC test

The GC test is a method used to analyze the type and amount of organic contaminants on a clean cloth.

*Reference test standard: In the head industry, Total: <10ug
